Comedy of errors

#58: Murphy’s Law says, “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” Write about a time everything did — fiction encouraged here, too!

This morning. I ran out of cereal, I forgot to put my scarf on before leaving the house (and I’m a person who feels the cold easily, so need as many layers as possible!), my train was cancelled, the next available train was half the size it usually is (so if you suffer from claustrophobia, you would have had a problem) and i’ve just been told that I didn’t make the interview stages for a job writing product descriptions for a fashion outlets website. Even though all this has happened, I still feel surprisingly upbeat as I have next week off for my birthday and I’ll be joining my local gym… super exciting times!

* no fiction necessary

Bonus assignment: do you keep a notebook next to your bed? Good. Tomorrow morning, jot down the first thought you have upon waking, whether or not it’s coherent.

I don’t keep a notepad besides my bed, but I will do tonight!

    1. Thanks Monique – I can’t deny that I’m looking forward to a nice lie in!

      This morning the bad luck did continue though – a car sped through a huge puddle, soaking me from head to toe! Bring on tomorrow 😀

      Have a great weekend!
